Privacy Policy

Who we are

TianTian is a Chinese-learning web app (a progressive web app, or PWA) that runs in your phone browser. It is operated by the TianTian team. Questions about this policy: [email protected].

What we collect

• Email address — only if you log in or buy a subscription. We use it to send login codes and links, and to identify your subscription.
• Payment details — payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep only the identifiers Stripe gives us (customer and subscription IDs, plan, status).
• Anonymous visit counters — we count visits and where they came from. If you arrive through a link with a UTM tag, we store the source in a cookie named tt_utm for 30 days.
• Login session — a cookie named tt_session keeps you logged in.
• Learning progress — stored locally on your device (in your browser storage). It is not sent to us.

Services we use

• Stripe — payment processing and the subscription management portal.
• Resend — sends the emails with your login code or link.
• Cloudflare — hosting and delivery of the site.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.

Cookies

We use only the two cookies above: tt_utm (acquisition source, 30 days) and tt_session (login session). We do not use advertising cookies. You can delete cookies in your browser settings; you will then be logged out.

Retention

We keep your email and subscription records while your account or subscription is active and as long as needed for billing, tax and legal obligations. Anonymous counters do not identify you. Local progress stays on your device until you clear it.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Your rights (LGPD and GDPR)

Under the Brazilian LGPD and, where it applies, the EU GDPR, you can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict its processing. To make a request, or to ask us to delete your data, email [email protected] from the address you used with TianTian. We will reply as soon as we reasonably can.

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
